Proven business owners are establishing Pala Raceway with a passion for racing, family entertainment and corporate development.
Ryan Ouellette (Founder & President)
Ryan was a born entrepreneur, while attending Framingham State College outside of Boston MA he started his first business at the age of nineteen years old. Upon completion of school Ryan sold his business and returned to Southern California to open a realestate development company. His first development project would be completed just a few miles away from what will be his dream project of Pala Raceway. During the development he started Coastal Empire Mortgage which he still owns and operates to this day.
During the past seventeen years Ryan has been involved with numerous businesses and holds one US Patent which was completed as a hobby while living in Washington DC area as part of a health care company he founded. While he never left his roots of California he did return full time to southern California in 1996. Upon his return Ryan was spending a larger portion of time riding and it was then that he was introduced to Comp Park Motocross which he invested in with two other partners. He would later sell Comp Park Motocross due to the heavy work load of his mortgage company so he could spend more time with his wife Amy of fifteen years and their first of two children, Courtney. From the day he sold Comp Park Ryan knew he wanted to be involved again in another track and focused his efforts on San Diego County. He first met Chairman Smith over nine years ago, prior to the construction of what is today Pala Casino Resort Spa. With the help of Chairman Smith and the approval of the general council he was able to build what is today Pala Raceway. During the years of work Ryan was able to assemble a team that has been able to see the vision of the knowledge he gained during his years of ownership and training on earth moving from Comp Park.
When Ryan isn't in the office or on a bulldozer, he is with his wife Amy and his two children, Courtney and Austin. As a family they spend a large portion of their time at their second home in Big Bear, skiing, water skiing and riding.
